The Relentless Love of God For the Lost and the Found
In the Book THIS MATTERS: two guys dying next to Jesus. One asks for mercy and gets paradise promised. The other laughs it off and stays lost. The book starts there and asks the big question: Why does God keep running after the one who says no? It pulls from the lost sheep, the coin nobody notices missing, the kid who blew everything and came home anyway. Real stories mixed in, too. It pushes you to quit judging and actually chase people with grace. Grace, nobody earns. That’s the point. It hits whether you’re the one running or the one already safe at home.
About The Author
David L. McDowell Jr
I’m David L. McDowell Jr. Just a guy who’s followed Jesus a long time, messed up plenty, and seen grace show up anyway. My dad, David Sr., was the real deal, taught me faith by living it every day. This book comes from watching God not give up on people I thought were done. I wrote it because I believe we all need reminding: nobody’s too far. The lost matter. The found do too. My hope is you’ll read this, feel that pull, and maybe go after your own “one” who’s wandering. It’s simple, but it changes lives.

Wrecked me in the best way. Seeing God chase the one who says no changed how I pray for people who've walked away. Real hope.
Louis A. Jeter
The two thieves part hit different; one gets grace, the other doesn't, but the pursuit never stops. Made me quit judging and love harder.
Walter S. Jacobson
Felt like a friend talking straight. Reminded me God's love doesn't quit on anyone. Encouraging and eye-opening.
